Formed in the late 60’s, Moxy builds constant, six-wheel drive ADTs in the 30-40 ton capacity range.
The trucks can be used in a variety of off-road applications including
construction, land reclamation, and landfill cover operations. ADTs have
earned a reputation for being easy to operate, economical, and productive--
even under the toughest working conditions.
In 1986, Moxy entered into
a significant agreement with Komatsu Ltd. of Japan, for the production of
Komatsu-branded articulated dump trucks. This agreement allowed Moxy trucks to
be sold under the Komatsu name in markets not served by the established
worldwide Moxy dealer network.
In 1991, the current
company, Moxy Trucks A/S, was formed as a joint venture between A/S Olivin and
Komatsu Ltd. Their goals were to increase product quality and reliability,
reduce warranty claims and downtime, and improve the levels of after-sales
service to the customer.
Long term
relationships with key suppliers like Scania (engines) and ZF (transmissions),
have also helped to achieve its new goals. |
