The TRACTOR & EQUIPMENT COMPANY story is one of progress. In 1943, TEC opened its doors with a handful of people and more than a handful of determination. The founding fathers set out to make TEC the best heavy equipment company in the Southeast.

Today, the company’s number one priority remains the same: Remain Alabama, Georgia and Northwest Florida’s most customer-oriented equipment dealer.

Included in TEC’s product offerings are Komatsu, Dressta, Dynapac rollers, P&H cranes, Badger Cruz-Air, Moxy articulate trucks, Gradall, CMI Trashmasters, Tamrock drills, and Esco.

TEC opened for business in 1943 in Birmingham and now employs over five hundred employees at twenty branches. In Birmingham, TEC operates its Used Parts and Renew Center.
